FAQs

Our Chapter

  • How do we join?
Simply join the GroupMe (Click on "Join Today" on the home page), pay the TSA dues on MyPayments Plus, and fill out the Google Form by clicking on Join Now. To confirm, you will see your name on the Members list in the chapter section. You will also be added to the TSA ItsLearning page (this can take more than a few days).
  • What is the purpose of this organization?
Technology Student Association is a STEAM-based (A = Arts) organization, focused on providing members opportunities to compete in several different competitions. Events include but are not limited to Video Game Design, Fashion Design, Flight Endurance, CAD, and Scientific Visualization. Check out the Event Information page under Competitions for more specific information.

Meetings

  • How will meetings work with COVID?
The meetings will be hosted on Thursdays after-school (Dates TBA). The meetings will start at 4:00 PM in Mr. Hodges and Mrs. Zhou's rooms in the Engineering Hallway in West Hall. These meetings will accommodate both in-school and virtual students. Virtual students can simply join a Microsoft Teams meeting posted on the ItsLearning page, and in-school students will sit in the classrooms. All state restrictions apply, so masks and social distancing will be mandated.
  • When is the first meeting?
The first Informational Meeting will be on September 17th in the format described in the previous answer. This meeting will introduce you to the Chapter Officers and demonstrate the activities and events we offer.
  • Who runs the meetings?
Since TSA is a CTSO club, the student officer team runs the meeting.
